Lead Engineer
Exegy is seeking a Lead Engineer for its Managed Services Engineering department. MSE designs, programs, and maintains user interfaces, APIs, and automated processes related to Exegy product deployment, configuration management, service health monitoring, and service management. MSE tools and processes support key operational processes such as provisioning, notifications, and customer support. As a member of MSE, you will develop interfaces and automated processes to support these functions. MSE key technologies include Puppet, ServiceNow, Jira, Linux, JavaScript, Angular, Python, Git, and Docker. Specifically, you will:
Lead, mentor, and coach MSE staff Provide technical leadership for the team guiding processes and best practices Have current knowledge of development tools and technologies Develop real-time, multi-threaded software components of to support Exegy products and services Review and provide feedback on software design Peer review code developed within the team Analyze and tune system performance Investigate and troubleshoot issues raised by customers and support teams Interface with hardware and firmware engineers to design automated monitoring and management solutions to improve reliability What We'll Love About You:
Expertise using and creating APIs Experience with Puppet and Ansible Programming skills in C/C+
and Java Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills Strong background in algorithms and data structures Strong skills with object-oriented design and familiar with microservices architecture Experience with Agile development methodologies Experience with Linux and scripting languages (e.g. shell, Perl, Python, PHP) Experience with source-code control (e.g. Gitlab, GitHub, CVS) Experience developing and debugging complex systems Understanding of the software development lifecycle Understanding of distributed systems, both in design and implementation Familiarly with test automation and test automation frameworks Knowledge of computer hardware, Linux system administration, and networking What is Required:
BS or higher in Computer Science or related field 7

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
