Marketing Manager

THE ROLE UpCodes is looking for our first marketing hire to help us scale and define our brand in the market. We've had fantastic traction growing the product to 500,000 users without sales or marketing as we honed product-market fit. Historically we've only done order taking. As we now shift our focus to growth, marketing will play a pivotal role in our go-to-market strategy. As the first member of the marketing team, you will work closely with the CEO. In this role, you'll be in charge of establishing marketing across the board, including growth, positioning, PMM, and programmatic ads. You will have a significant opportunity to influence our brand, positioning, and go-to-market approach. RESPONSIBILITIES Be creative in coming up with and testing new channels, initiatives, techniques, and approaches to drive growth and retention Lead and launch campaigns from start-to-finish:
ideation, development, measurement, and optimization Web optimization - landing page strategy, information architecture, conversion rates Analyze the performance of acquisition channels (CAC, ROI, etc.) and user behavior to make data-driven proposals for product development and marketing Put in place the right marketing infrastructure to ensure all of our programs have clear measures for success Manage and iterate on SEO strategy Content and writing - emails, landing page copy Collaborate with Product on user segmentation, pricing, positioning, and go-to-market approach Own UpCodes' externally-facing communication platforms (web, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) YOU MUST HAVE At least 4 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in startups Experience in an early/growth stage company Structured, methodical and efficient; able to bring initiatives to a lean startup team Data-oriented:
you feel comfortable diving into analytics, and you're well-versed in key SaaS metrics Highly knowledgeable about best of breed marketing stacks and have implemented various solutions (whether internally or working with an agency) Biased towards action:
you are constantly iterating to find out what does and doesn't work Self-motivated with good time management; ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous experience managing a team or mentoring junior colleagues will be a plus.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Brand Marketing & ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
