DevOps Engineer

Job description A fast-growing company that delivers beautiful flower arrangements together with exceptional customer service is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will work with speed and efficiency to deliver the highest quality of work in building a scalable, efficient cloud infrastructure. The selected candidate is required to have a solid working understanding of AWS VPC, security groups, etc. This is a nice opportunity to join the team at an early stage and rise quickly through the ranks. Responsibilities:
Engage in technical conversations with the team without hesitation Provide continuous integration and delivery solutions in a cloud environment Build scalable deployment pipelines and implement solutions to complex problems Compare, evaluate, and implement new features and technologies, and integrate them with the existing environment Job Requirements:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience) At least 5
years of relevant experience managing AWS deployment of a website and related services Solid working understanding of AWS VPC, security groups, etc. Experience configuring and managing Jenkins (or equivalent CI system), VPN access to an AWS VPC Extensive hands-on experience with shell scripts Comfortable working with a CLI over a web console Experience with PCI Level 1 compliance Passion for comprehensive monitoring and alerting and keeping the alerts quiet Solid, confident English speaking ability Experience with SecurityMetrics (or equivalent) penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, etc., is desired Working knowledge of Snowflake and data pipelines is a plus
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
DevOps & Site ReliabilityEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
