Minimum Requirements:
The Position requires:
Use Oracle E-Business Suite applications for accounts payable/accounts receivable (AP/AR), general ledger, fixed assets, and cash management, supporting data extraction, filtering, and validation.
EDUCATION/LANGUAGE
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information systems or related field required.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
7
years of extensive experience as Oracle Applications Techno-Functional Consultant in implementation, upgrade and customization of Oracle e-Business Suite Applications.
This includes system study, design, development, post implementation maintenance and support of
Oracle EBS. Extensive experience as Oracle Applications e-Business Suite Consultant and Technical
Developer in Design, Development and Implementation of Oracle Applications R12/11i

years of Oracle 10g/11g Systems DBA experience including three or more of the following areas:
Oracle Technology and Patch Management
Oracle Database Administration including backup/recovery and performance tuning
Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Data Integration and Oracle Applications
Strong administrative experience of Oracle Databases and third party tools (Kintana, Toad, etc.)
Two plus years of UNIX experience including scripting
Experience in a complex, large volume operation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information systems or related
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder to be considered for the role.
Description:
The Senior Oracle Core DBA will provide project and day to day operational support for backend Oracle databases and associated tools. This candidate will work with all areas of Oracle Technical Services (OTS), Oracle Support, Divisional IT personnel and other third parties as required
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide day to day and project support for Non EBS Enterprise Applications such as Hyperion, Aceva, Vendavo, etc.; this includes but is not limited to:
Monitoring and problem resolution
Patch analysis and deployment
Cloning
Database Tuning
Communicate to stakeholders via standard methods (e.g. orally, email, ticket system).
Resolve incidents and problems. Communication of same to stakeholders.
Facilitate the promotion of application code, setups, databases and related components from the various levels of development through staging and production.
Follow standard OTS operational methods utilizing OTS' standard tool set.
Develop or refine technical procedures, scripts and associated documentation.
Assist in disaster recovery preparation, planning and testing.
