Chief Information Officer

Job Description: The CIO plays a critical role to provide vision and leadership for developing, implementing and overseeing information technology initiatives that align with the mission of earning the admiration, respect and smiles of our customers, team and partners. This leader translates corporate strategies into the planning, budgeting and execution of IT operating plans. Building and maintaining a team culture that allows for the attraction, high level of engagement, development, and retention of talented IT professionals is key to success. As a member of the Leadership Team, the CIO makes significant contributions to corporate strategy and provides consulting and support to all business leaders in strategy execution. This leader drives innovation to improve supply chain, physical store and eCommerce performance. Key Areas of Responsibility: Strategy and Planning: Participate in strategic processes and collaboration as a member of the leadership team. Drive the analysis and re-engineering of existing business processes, identifying and developing the capability to use new tools, and reshaping the enterprise's physical infrastructure and network access. Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve company goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems across the organization. Establish IT departmental goals, objectives and procedures that deliver exceptional customer service to customers as well as internal team customers. Develop, track and control the information technology annual budget. Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan. Identify emerging industry practices and technologies to gain competitive advantage. Acquisition and Deployment: Approve, prioritize, and control projects and the project portfolio as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems. Coordinate and facilitate consultation with stakeholders to define business and system requirements for new technology improvements. Review hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts and pursue master agreements to capitalize on economies of scale. Operational Management: Communicate IT-related information effectively to all stakeholders in the company including facilitating team meetings. Ensure IT system operations adheres to applicable laws and regulations, particularly PCI compliance. Provide leadership to resolve escalation of IT-related issues in a timely manner. Oversee the hiring and continual professional development of team members to meet the evolving needs of the business. Provide direction and coaching to IT team members responsible for project management, networkinfrastructure & security, enterprise applications, eCommerce, and user Inspire team members to attain goals and pursue excellence in accordance with Mission, Values and Principles. Required Experience: Experience and Skill Requirements: B.S. degree and 10+ years demonstrated experience with 5+ years in a senior technical leadership role. Retail or consumer-oriented business experiencerequired. eCommerce experiencerequired, preferably in retail. Experience providing technical and change management leadership as part of enterprise-wide business transformations such as an ERP or CRM implementation. Ability to navigate differing opinions and overcome objections of executive leadership. Success in managing and growing teams of 10 or more team members. Experience creating and managing multi-million dollar operating and capital budgets. Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineerpreferred. Certified Information Systems Security Professional preferred. Technical competency in the following areas: Enterprise system architecture Service bus or other remote API, Web API (REST, ROA) technologies Data architecture Process design ITIL Cloud (Azure, AWS) ERP Warehouse management eCommerce technologies Database technologies Analytics toolsets Physical Demands: Sitting for long periods of time Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard Close vision for PC work Bending, carrying, and pushing Heavy lifting (no more than 50 lbs) Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions Ability to travel occasionally as needed

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
