Job Description Summary The School of Communications at Webster University invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in Media Communications and Media Studies, in the Department of Communications & Journalism. We are seeking candidates with a broad, integrated perspective, able to contribute to curriculum and scholarship at multiple points, and excited by the pace of change in the field, whose experience and expertise complements that of our existing faculty, who bring new perspectives to discussions of curriculum revision and strategic planning for the department. There are opportunities to participate in significant revision of our programs. This is one of two such positions. Experience and expertise in social media, digital strategies, digital audience engagement, and related media analytics are of particular interest. Physical Demands Essential Duties The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses and advise students in Media Communications and related areas, provide faculty service, and engage in professional development, including scholarship and creative activity. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
